Aksidenteng nabaril ni Daanbantayan, Cebu Mayor Vicente Loot ang kanyang sarili kagabi.

Ayon sa pulisya, paalis na sa isang vigil sa Barangay Lanao si Loot sakay ng Mitsubishi Strada dakong 8:40 ng gabi nang maupuan niya ang baril at pumutok ito.

Nagtamo ng sugat sa kanyang paa si Loot.

Isinugod sa ospital ang alkalde.

Matatandaang nakaligtas sa pananambang si Loot ngayong buwan matapos pagbabarilin ng mga suspek ang kanyang sasakyan.
