Janet Lim Napoles, pinatatanggal na sa WPP ng DOJ
Tinapos na ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang provisional coverage ng tinaguriang pork barrel queen na si Janet Lim Napoles sa Witness Protection Security and Benefits Program.
Naging basehan ng DOJ sa pasya ang nauna nang pagbasura ng Branch ng 1st ,3rd at 5th division ng Sandiganbayan para sa urgent motion for transfer of custody sa DOJ witness protection.
Sa abiso ng ng DOJ, sinabi nito na moot and academic na ang coverage ni Napoles sa WPP dahil wala naman itong nakitang basehan sa sinasabing banta sa buhay nito sa Camp Bagong Diwa.
Noong February 28, 2017 nang isa-ilalim ng noo’y Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre si Napoles sa 90 day provisoinal coverage ng WPP.
