Pangulong Duterte, ginawaran ng Order of Lapu-Lapu ang 7 sugatang sundalo
Binigyang pagkilala ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pitong sundalong nasugatan sa iba’t ibang insidente.
Personal na binisita ng Pangulo, kasama si Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go, ang pitong sundalo sa Metro Davao Medical Research Center ang mga ito.
Binigyan ni Duterte ang mga ito ng medalya ng Order of Lapu-Lapu, Rank of Kampilan na iginagawad para sa hindi matawarang serbisyo ng mga indibidwal na nasugatan.
Kinilala ang mga sundalo na sina Private First Class (PFC) Nicasio Badana III, Private Michael Liban, PFC. Jackson Macaraig, Corporal Kith Domingo, Private. Roy Inovejas, PFC Roger Belas, at PFC Daniel Fabular.
Nasugatan sa sumabog na improvised explosive device sina Belas at Fabular sa Mabini, Compostela Valley noong May 21.
Nasugatan naman sa engkwentro sina Badana, Domingo, Liban at Macaraig.
Nangako naman si Duterte na magpapaabot siya ng ayuda sa mga sugatang sundalo.
