Japan, nangunguna sa ranking ng world’s most powerful passports; Pilipinas nasa ika-70 pwesto

Nangunguna sa ranking ng world’s most powerful passports ang bansang Japan ayon sa pinakabagong edisyon ng Henley Passport Index.

Naungusan na ng Japan ang dating mga nangungunang bansa na Singapore at Germany dahil sa pagbibigay nito ng visa-free access sa kanilang passport-holders sa 189 destinasyon.

Nasa second place na ang Germany at Singapore ngunit lamang lang ng kaunti ang Japan sa 188 destinations ng mga ito.

Dahil sa malakas na international trade at diplomatic relations ay papataas ang ranggo ng mga bansa sa Asya.

Kalimitang European countries ang nangunguna sa nasabing listahan na nakabase mula sa datos ng International Transport Association (IATA).

Samantala, nasa ika-70 pwesto ang Pilipinas ka-tie ang Azerbaijan, Dominican Republic at Tunisia.

Habang nasa pinakahuling pwesto naman ang Iraq at Afghanistan.
