Publiko kinalma ng Malacañang sa pagdating Chinese bomber sa WPS
Walang nakikitang dahilan ang Malacañang para i- convene ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang national security cluster.
Ito ay sa kabila ng pagpunta ng isang Chinese bomber sa ginawang isla ng China sa West Philippine Sea.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, wala namang nakikitang dagliang banta ang pangulo sa naturang lugar.
sinabi pa ni Roque na hindi rin nakikita ng Pilipinas na banta sa seguridad ang China dahil sa magandang relasyon ng dalawang bansa.
Matatandaang makailang beses nang sinabi ni Duterte na barkada na niya ngayon si Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Dagdag pa ng kalihim, “Well it’s the President’s call really ‘no and right now the President does not see any immediate threat. As I said, we do not consider China to be a threat to our security right now because of our new found friendship with China”.
