Narekober sa suspek ang kalibre .38 na revolver, granada, sim cards at apat na cellphone.
Ilan sa mga opisyal na ginaya ng suspek ay sina dating pangalawang pangulong Jejomar Binay, dating National Irrigation Authority chief Peter Laviña, Department of Transportation Secretary Art Tugade, at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Deputy Governor Nestor Espenilla.
Ayon kay Albayalde, ilang mga halal na opisyal na ang nabiktima ni Avilla, kabilang ang ilang kongresista.
Inihalintulad ng PNP chief ang suspek kay Willie Nepomuceno na impersonator ni Interior and Local Government Officer-in-charge Eduardo Año.
Aniya, marunong si Avilla magpalit-palit ng boses.
Dati nang inaresto si Avilla dahil sa kasong robbery at attempted murder.
