Kinumpirma ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na nagbitiw sa pwesto sa Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) si Undersecretary Noel Puyat.
Si Puyat ay undersecretary for administratin and finance ng PCOO.
Siya rin ang nangasiwa sa pondo ng ginanap na ASEAN Summit sa bansa noong nakalipas na taon kung saan umabot sa mahigit P600 milyon ang gastos.
Sa ngayon hindi pa masabi ni Roque kung ano ang dahilan ng pagbibitiw sa pwesto ni Puyat.
Wala pa ring pahayag ang tanggapan ni Sec. Martin Andanar sa isyu.
Magugunitang isang resolusyon ang inihain sa senado ni Senator Antonio Trillanes IV na humihiling na maimbestigahan kung saan saan ginastos ng PCOO ang P600 milyon para sa ASEAN.
