Imbestigasyon kay Cesar Montano ipauubaya ng Malacañang sa DOT
Hindi na aatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) na imbestigahan si Tourism Promotions Board Chief Operating Officer Cesar Montano sa kontrobersiyal na P80 Million na pondo sa Buhay Carinderia program.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, binubusisi na kasi ni Tourism Secretary Bernadette Puyat ang naturang kontrobersiya.
Dagdag ni Roque, hahayaan na muna ng palasyo si Puyat na alamin ang puno’t dulo ng Buhay Carinderia program na inilunsad ni Montano.
Bukod sa nasabing proyekto ay inireklamo na rin ng mga empleyado ng TPB si Montano dahil sa pagpasok sa multimillion peso deal nang walang kaukulang rekomendasyon at approval ng board, pagkuha ng mga kamag anak at kabigan bilang sariling staff at paggamit sa pondo ng gobyerno para sa kanyang personal na biyahe.
