Plano ni Akbayan Party-list Rep. Tom Villarin na maghain ng impeachment complaint laban sa walong Supreme Court justices na bumoto pabor sa quo warranto petition na nagpatalsik kay dating Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
Ayon Villarin, suportado ng magnificent seven ng kamara ang planong niyang ito.
Paliwanag ni Villarin, ang walong mahistrado ay nakagawa ng paglabag sa Konstitusyon matapos na panghimasukan ng mga ito ang pagpapatalsik sa isang impeachable official tulad ni Sereno.
Ihahain ni Villarin ang impeachment complaint bago ang kanilang adjourn sine die sa Hunyo.
Kabilang sa walong mahistrado na bumoto pabor sa quo warranto petition ng OSG ay sina Associate Justices Teresita J. Leonardo-De Castro, Diosdado M. Peralta, Lucas P. Bersamin, Francis H. Jardeleza, Samuel R. Martires, Noel G. Tijam, Andres B. Reyes Jr., at Alexander G. Gesmundo.
