Malakanyang walang utos na ihinto ang paggiba sa West Cove Resort sa Boracay – DILG
Pinabulaanan ng Department of Interior and Local Government na ipinahihinto ng Malakanyang ang paggiba sa West Cove Resort sa Boracay.
Ipinahayag ni DILG Assistant Secretary Epimaco Densing III na wala silang natatanggap na sulat na nagpapasuspinde sa demolisyon.
Sinabi ni Densing na nagpapatuloy ang paggiba sa naturang resort. Aniya, kauutos lang din ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año na bilisan ito.
Sa isang ulat, sinabi ng may-ari ng resort na si Crisostomo Aquino na nakatanggap umano siya ng kopya ng kautusang nagsususpinde sa demolisyon mula sa Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs.
Kinansela ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources ang permit ng West Cove na gamitin ang forest land sa turismo dahil umano sa mga paglabag.
