Nagbabalik-normal na ang relasyon ng Pilipinas at Kuwait matapos mapirmahan ang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) para sa proteksyon ng mga overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) sa Gulf state.

Sa press briefing sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), sinabi ni Presidential spokesperon Harry Roque na sinyales ito na nagkasundo ang dalawang bansa para mag-move on sa naturang problema.

Pareho aniyang natuto ang Pilipinas at Kuwait mula sa kinaharap na problema.

Napagtibay rin aniya ng naging maayos na pagpupulong ang pagkakaibigan ng dalawang bansa.

Samantala, nagbalik-bansa sina Roque, Bello at dating Labor chief Marianito Roque kasama ang 87 undocumented OFWs sa Kuwait.
