San Vicente Airport sa Palawan bubuksan na rin sa commercial flights

Inaasahan ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) na higit na tataas ang bilang ng mga turista sa Palawan dahil natapos na ang San Vicente Airport (SVA).

Ngayon araw pangungunahan nina DOTr Secretary Arthur P. Tugade, DOTr Undersecretary for Aviation and Airports Manuel Antonio Tamayo, CAAP Director Jim Sydiongco, at Palawan Governor Jose Alvarez ang inauguration ng San Vicente Airport sa Palawan.

Sinimulan ang pagpapatayo ng P62.7 million airport project nung taong 2009, sa layuning nakapagbigay ng mas marami pang flights at ruta para sa mga pasahero na magpupunta sa Palawan Islands, at higit ba mapalakas ang First Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zone.

Ang SVA officially opened sa light aircrafts nung June 2017, habang ang chartered flights mula sa Air Juan ay sinimulan ng August 2017.

Mataps ang inauguration, SVA papayagan na rin ang commercial flights para mas maraming makapunta sa Palawan.
