Natanggap na ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief General Carlito Galvez ang ikaapat na estrelya sa kanyang balikat.
Ito ay isang buwan lamang matapos siyang italaga bilang chief of staff ng AFP.
Bago nagsimula ang oathtaking ceremony ng mga promoted na miyembro ng AFP sa Malacañan ay iginawad muna nina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana kay Galvez ang kanyang four-star rank.
Matatandaang April 18 nang magsimulang manungkulan si Galvez bilang hepe ng AFP matapos nitong palitan si retired General Leonardo Guerrero.
