Dating BOC Comm. Faeldon kakasuhan na kaugnay sa P6.4 Billion shabu shipment
Tinapos na ng Office of the Ombudsman ang kanilang fact-finding investigation kaugnay sa reklamo ukol sa P6.4 Billion peso shabu shipment mula sa China.
Inirekomenda ng Special Panel of Fact-Finding Investigators ang paghahain ng criminal charges laban kay dating Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon, Import Assessment Service (IAS) Director Milo Maestrecampo, Risk Management Office (RMO) Chief Larribert Hilario and Accounts Management Office (AMO) Chief Mary Grace Tecson-Malabed.
Inirekomenda rin ng lupon ang paghahain ng administrative charges dahil sa Grave Misconduct laban kay Faeldon at BOC officials na sina Joel Pinawin at Oliver Valiente, at Gross Neglect of Duty and Grave Misconduct kontra kina Tecson-Malabed at Maestrecampo.
Dagdag na reklamong Usurpation of Official Functions at paglabag sa violation Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 ang kahaharapin ni Faeldon.
Ibinasura naman ang mga reklamo laban kina dating Davao City Vice-Mayor Paolo Duterte and Atty. Manases Carpio dahil sa kawalan ng basehan.
Matatandaan na noong 26 May 2017, nagsagawa ng raid ang BOC-Customs Intelligence and Investigative Services, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency sa isang warehouse na pag-aari ng Philippine Hongfei Logistics Group of Companies, Inc. Sa Valenzuela City, kung saan nasabat ang P6.4 Billion na shabu mula China.
Inimbestigahan pa ito ng Senado at Kamara, at humantong pa sa pagkaka-detine ni Faeldon.
Hindi naman nakibahagi si Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales sa fact-finding investigation.
