Mahigit 1,000 hired-on-the-spot sa Labor Day Job Fair
Umabot sa 1,195 na job seekers ang hired on the spot o tanggap agad sa trabahong inapplayan sa job fairs na inilunsad ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) kahapon kasabay ng araw ng paggawa.
Batay sa datos ng DOLE, sa Quezon City pa lamang ay 48 ang hired in the spot kung saan 17 ay mga lalaki at 31 ay mga babae na magtatrabaho bilang mga Office Staff, Service Crew, Admin at Accounting Staff at Baggers.
Samantala, 2,307 naman ang naghihintay na lamang ng tawag ng mga interesadong kumpanya.
Isinagawa ang Labor Day Job Fair sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa mula Metro Manila, Laguna, Cebu hanggang Bacolod City.
Bukod sa local employment ay may alok ding trabaho abroad.
