Pacquiao mas gustong tumakbo sa ilalim ng ticket ni Duterte
Mas nais umano ni Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao na sumama sa ticket ni Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte kaysa sa Liberal Party.
Ayon kay Senate President Franklin Drilon na siya ring vice chairman ng Liberal Party, ito ang dahilan kung bakit hindi napa-oo ng LP si Pacquiao na sumama sa kanilang line-up.
“Si Congressman Pacquiao ang kanyang preference dahil s’ya po ay taga Mindanao, ‘pag tumakbo si Mayor Duterte, doon po s’ya tatakbo as a member of the Senate slate,” ayon kay Drilon.
Una nang kinumpirma ni Pacquiao na siya ay tatakbong senador pero wala pa siyang pasya kung saang partido siya sasama.
Samantala, sa kaso naman ni Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, hindi rin ito napasama sa LP line up dahil nagpasya itong tapusin ang termino sa lungsod.
Sa kabila ng hindi pagkakasama ni Pacquiao sa LP ticket sinabi ni Drilon na represented pa rin naman ang mga taga-Mindanao sa kanilang line-up sa pamamagitan ni Department of Interior and Local Government Assistant Secretary at dating Maguindanao officer-in-charge Nariman Ambolodto.
Si Ambolodto at si Coop-Natcco Party List Representative Cresente Paez ay kasama sa 12-man slate ng LP.
