Batay sa ulat, prutas na Durian ang natagpuan ng ilang crew ng Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology sa kanilang university campus library.
Ayon sa Metropolitan Fire Brigade spokesman, naalarma ang mga staff at estudyante matapos tumagos ang amoy ng naturang prutas sa air-conditioning system ng gusali.
Aabot sa 600 staff at estudyante ang lumikas sa building dahil sa insidente.
Kilala ang Durian na may matinding amoy at karaniwang ipinagbabawal sa ilang hotel at public transport sa ilang bahagi ng Southeast Asia.
