Ilang beses ding naudlot ang announcement ng senatorial slate ng LP. Ito ay matapos na kusang magpa-alis sa line-up si MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino, at magpasya si Mayor Herbert Bautista na muling tumakbo bilang alkalde ng Quezon City sa halip na tumakbong senador.
