Mga lansangan sa Boracay lalawakan ng DPWH

Gagawa ng mas malalapad na kalsada ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa Boracay sa kasagsagan ng anim na buwang closure nito.

Maliban sa pagpapalapad sa kalsada aayusin din ang drainage system sa kahabaan ng Boracay Circumferential Road.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villars sa gagawing road widening gigibain ang mga straktura na masasakop ng 12-meter government road right-of-way.

Magsasagawa din ng paglilinis sa drainage systems sa road network ng isla.

“We have six months to restore the beauty of Boracay. For this period we aim to complete the whole Boracay Circumferential Road that will strictly follow the 6.10-meter carriageway standard and road right-of-way on both sides as we also plan to build sidewalks and bike lanes for the pedestrians,” ayon kay Villar.

Ayon kay Villar, makitid ang daan sa isla dahil sa mga paglabag sa road right-of-way.

May mga itinayo aniyang straktura sa kahabaan ng national roads.

Ayon sa DPWH, aabot sa P490 million ang budget na kakailanganin para makumpleto ang pagsasaayos sa Boracay Circumferential Road.
