Mahigit 143,000 na trabaho alok sa labor day job fairs
Sa darating na Labor Day, higit 143,000 trabaho ang iaalok sa 37 job fairs na isasagawa ng DOLE kasabay ng paggunita ng Araw ng Panggawa, sa darating na araw ng Martes.
Sinabi ni Labor Usec. Joel Maglunsod, halos 2,000 employers ang lalahok sa 37 job fairs na isasagawa sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa, bagamat marami sa mga ito ay sa Central Luzon at Metro Manila.
Binanggit pa ni Maglunsod, na higit pa sa kalahati ng job openings ay overseas employment o trabaho sa ibang bansa.
Nabatid na ang Top 10 sa pinakamaraming bilang ng mga bakante ay para sa production machine operators, sundalo, construction workers, customer service representatives, mason, call center agents, karpintero, mga tauhan ng PDEA, factory workers at service crew.
Samantala, ang maraming kailangan naman sa mga trabaho sa ibang bansa ay nurses, factory workers, technicians, food and beverage staff, construction workers, taga linis, waiters o waitresses, drivers, laborers at tile fitters.
