Pangulong Duterte matutungo sa Philippine Rise sa susunod na linggo
Magtutungo si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Philippine Rise na kilala rin sa tawag na Benham Rise.
Ayon sa pangulo sa susunod na linggo bibisita siya sa Banham Rise para ipakita ang layunin ng pamahalaan na ito ay protektahan.
Ginawa ng pangulo ang pahayag sa kaniyang talumpati sa 102nd Annual Communication ng Most Worshiphul Grand Lodge of the Free and Accepted Mason in the Philippines.
Sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte na pagdating nya sa Benham Rise magbibigay siya ng ‘statement’ at sasabihin niyang walang ibang may-ari noon kundi ang Pilipinas.
“Next week I’m going to Benham Rise and I will make a statement there that nobody but nobody owns this place (but the Philippines,)” ayon kay Pangulong Duterte.
Biro pa ng pangulo kahit pa umabot sa San Francisco Bay ang continental shelf ng Benham Rise ay pag-aari pa rin ito ng Pilipinas.
