6 na dayuhan na sangkot sa P6.4B shabu shipment mula China, isinailalim sa HDO

Nagpalabas ng hold departure orders (HDO) ang Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) laban sa anim na dayuhan na sangkot sa kasong may kaugnayan sa P6.4-billion shabu shipment mula China.

Sa pagdinig sa sala ni Manila RTC Branch 46 Judge Rainelda Estacio-Montesa pinaburan nito ang mosyo ng state prosecutors na bawalan ang mga Chinese nationals na sina Richard Chen, Manny Li, Kenneth Dong at Chen Rong Huan; at Taiwanese citizens na sina Chen I-Min at Jhu Ming Jyun na makalabas ng bansa.

Sinang-ayunan ng korte ang panig ng prosekusyon na may posibilidad na umalis ng bansa ang mga dayuhan para takasan ang kasong kinakaharap nila.

Sa ilalim ng HDO, inaatasan ang Bureau of Immigration na bawalan ang mga Chinese at Taiwanese nationals na umalis ng Pilipinas.

Ang nasabing mga dayuhan ay co-accused ng Customs broker na si Mark Taguba II, consignee na si Eirene Mae Tatad, at isa pang akusado na si Teejay Marcellana sa kasong illegal drug importation and transportation.
