Mark Taguba naghain ng not guilty plea sa kaso kaugnay sa P6.4B shabu shipment

Naghain ng not guilty plea sa korte ang customs broker na si Mark Ruben Taguba II sa kinakaharao na illegal drug cases kaugnay sa P6.4-billion shabu shipment.

Isinagawa ang arraignment kay Taguba Biyernes ng umaga sa Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 46.

Ang co-accused nito na si Eirene May Tatad na may-ari ng EMT Trading at consignee ng shabu shipment ay tumanggi namang magpasok ng plea.

Personal na dumalo sa arraignment sina Taguba and Tatad.

Habang bigo namang sumipot ang iba pang akusado sa kasong isinampa ng Department of Justice (DOJ).

Nahaharap sina Taguba, Tatad at iba pa sa kasong illegal drug importation and transportation na paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Nagtakda naman ng pre-trial hearing ang korte para sa nasabing kaso sa May 25.
