Supreme Court hindi naglabas ng TRO sa Boracay closure

Walang inisyung Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) ang Korte Suprema laban sa pansamantalang pagsasara ng Boracay island.

Patungkol ito sa inihaing petisyon nina Sand Castle Builder official Mark Anthony Zabal, driver na si Thiting Jacosalem at turistang si Odon Bandiola sa Supreme Court kahapon para maglabas ng TRO, preliminary injunction at status ante order sa nasabing isyu.

Ayon kay Supreme Court Spokesman Theodore Te, isinama ang  petisyon para pigilan ang pagpapasara ng Boracay sa special en banc session ngayong araw pero hindi ito naglabas ng injuction.

Ibig sabihin nito, wala pa ring legal na hadlang para ipasara ng pamahalaan ang Boracay partikular na sa pagdalaw ng mga turista.

Kaninang umaga ay nagsimula na ang rehabilitasyon ng isla sa pangunguna ng mga opisyal mula sa Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Tourism at Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
