Ambassador ng Kuwait sa Pilipinas, hindi na ipare-recall ng kanilang pamahalaan
Hindi na lalayas sa Pilipinas si Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Philippines Saleh Ahmad Althwaikh.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, naayos na kasi ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang hidwaan ng Pilipinas at Kuwait matapos mag-viral ang video ng rescue operation ng mga tauhan ng embahada ng Pilipinas sa mga distressed na Overseas Filipino Workers doon.
Sinabi pa ni Roque na ginamitan ng pangulo ng personalistic, warm, friendly na negotiating style sa Kuwaiti government.
“Mukhang sure na po tayo na dahil normal naman po ang relasyon natin eh walang ganoong mangyayari. And again it is because of the negotiating style of the President, the personalistic, warm, friendly negotiation style of the President.” ayon kay Roque.
Una rito, nanawagan ang ilang opisyal ng Kuwait na i-recall na ang kanilang Ambassador sa Pilipinas dahil sa viral video.
