Ilang lugar sa Pilipinas, pumalo ang heat index sa 41 degrees Celsius ngayong araw
Nakaranas nang matinding init ng panahon ang ilang lugar sa Pilipinas ngayong araw.
Batay sa inilabas na datos ng PAGASA, umabot ang nararamdamang heat index sa 14 lalawigan sa bansa sa 41 degrees Celsius.
Nakapagtala ng mainit na temperatura sa mga sumusunod na lugar:
- San Jose City, Occidental Mindoro (45.9 degrees),
- Dagupan City, Pangasinan (44.6 degrees),
- Cuyo, Palawan (43.6 degrees),
- Surigao City, Surigao Del Norte (44.6 degrees),
- Casiguran, Aurora (43.4 degrees)
- Daet, Camarines Norte (42.7 degrees),
- Aparri, Cagayan (42.6 degrees),
- Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecjia (42.4 degrees),
- Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (42.2 degrees)
- Cotabato City, Maguindanao (41.8 degrees),
- Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (41.8 degrees),
- Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur (41.4 degrees),
Naitala naman ang pinakamataas na temperatura sa Sangley Point, Cavite City na may 47.7 degrees Celsius.
Sa inilabas na abiso ng weather bureau, ang heat index temperatures mula 41 hanggang 54 degrees Celsius ay pasok sa classification na “dangerous” o mapanganib.
Sa ganitong temperatura, maaari anilang makaranas ng heat cramps, heat exhaustion at heat stroke.
Samantala, nag-abiso ang PAGASA na posibleng maitala ang “extreme caution” classification simula sa Lunes hanggang Biyernes, April 27.
Nagpayo naman ang PAGASA na hangga’t maaari ay manatili na lang sa loob ng bahay, magsuot ng magagaan at light-colored na damit at uminom ng maraming tubig.
