Quo warranto petition vs SC Justice Teresita De Castro inihirit sa OSG
Hiniling ng isang pribadong indibiduwal si Solicitor General Jose Calida na maghain din ng quo warranto petition laban kay Supreme Court Associate Justice Teresita de Castro.
Sinabi ni Jocelyn Marie Acosta ang pagbabasehan ni Calida ay ang ginawang basehan din ng inihain nito laban kay Chief Justice on leave Maria Lourdes Sereno.
Magugunita na ang quo warranto petition laban kay Sereno ay base sa kabiguan nitong magsumite ng kanyang Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Networth (SALN) sa Judicial and Bar Council.
Banggit ni Acosta lumabas na 25 SALNs lang ang naisumite ni de Castro sa 39 na kanyang dapat na ipinasang SALNs.
Dagdag pa nito maaring kasuhan ng perjury si de Castro nang sabihin nito sa pagdinig ng House Committee on Justice na nakumpleto nito ang lahat ng requirements na hiningi ng JBC.
Giit ni Acosta magiging patas si Calida kung maghahain din ito ng quo warranto petition laban kay de Castro.
