Gobernador ng Masbate sinibak ng Ombudsman

Sinibak ng Office of the Ombudsman si Masbate Governor Rizalina Seachon Lanete dahil sa hindi tamang paggamit ng kaniyang pork barrel funds.

Si Lanete ay sinibak sa serbisyo at pinagbawalan na ring manilbihan sa anumang pwesto sa gobyerno dahil sa grave misconduct, serious dishonesty, at conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service.

Ayon sa Ombudsman napatunayang winaldas ang P112.29 million na halaga ng in Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) ni Lanete noong 2007 hanggang 2009.

Si Lanete ay inimbestigahan ng Omudsman sa kasong plunder na isinampa laban sa kaniya.

Kasama rin sa iniutos ng Ombudsman na masibak sa pwesto sina Technology Resource Center (TRC) executives, Dennis Cunanan, Marivic Jover, at Consuelo Lilian Espiritu; National Agri-Business Corporation (NABCOR) official Victor Roman Cacal; at National Livelihood Development Corporation (NLDC) representatives, Gondelina Amata, Chita Jalandoni, Emmanuel Alexis Sevidal, Ofelia Ordoñez, Sofia Cruz, Filipina Rodriguez at Gregoria Buenaventura.

Ayon sa Ombudsman ginamit ang pork barrel ni Lanete sa mga ghost projects kasangkot ang mga NGOs ni Janet Lim-Napoles.

Umabot umano sa P108.405 million ang naibulsa ni Lanete sa kaniyang PDAF noong siya ay kinatawan pa ng Masbate.
