Syria binomba ng US-led forces

Inihayag ni U.S President Donbald Trump na naglunsad ng air strikes ang U.S-led forces sa Syria bilang ganti sa pinakabagong chemical weapons attack ni Syrian Dictator Bashar al-Assad.

Ang nasabing pahayag ay ginawa ni Trump sa White House Diplomatic Reception Room kasabay ng ipinatawag na media briefing.

Mariin ring binatikos ni Trump ang naging pag-atake ni al-Assad sa kanyang mga kababayan.

Ayon kay Trump, “that was a significant attack against his own people,” and not the actions of a man, they are crimes of a monster instead.”

Madaling-araw kanina, oras sa Syria ng bumagsak ang mga bombang pinakawalan ng mga B1 bombers sa capital city ng Damascus.

Sinabi rin ni Trump na naging matagumpay ang ginawang precision air strike katuwang ang mga kasapi ng allied forces.

“The combined American, British and French response to these atrocities will integrate all instruments of our national power: military, economic and diplomatic,” paliwanag ni Trump.

Ipinaliwanag rin ng U.S President na magpapatuloy ang kanilang pagdurog sa administrasyon ni al-Assad hangga’t hindi nito itinitigil ang paggamit ng chemical weapon sa kanyang mga mismong mga kababayan.

May pahayag rin si Trump sa patuloy na pagsuporta ng Russia sa Syrian government.

Babala ni Trump, “Russia must decide if it will continue down this dark path.”

Muli rin niyang ipinaalala ang naging pahayag ni Russian President Vladimir Putin noong 2013 na hindi sila susuporta sa anumang chemical warfare na pwedeng ilunsad ng Syrian government.
