Sa report ng Reuters, sinabi ng secretary ng Sri Lanka President na si Austin Fernando na tatagal ang suspensyon hanggang sa May 8 ng kasalukuyang taon.
Hindi naman nagbigay ng detalye pa ang opisyal sa pagsuspinde ng kanilang parliament.
Ang hakbang ay kasunod ng pangakong reshuffle sa gabinete matapos matalo ang no- confidence motion laban kay Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe noong nakalipas na linggo.
