PNP iginiit na legal at constitutional ang isinasagawang drug operations
Itinanggi ng Philippine National Police ang alegasyon ng Korte Suprema na ang lahat ng pagpatay sa ilalim ng war on drugs ay posibleng kagagawan din ng gobyerno.
Iginiit ni PNP Spokesman Chief Supt. John Bulalacao na ang anti-drug operations ng mga pulis ay constitutional, legal at ipinatupad sa kapakanan ng kaligtasan ng publiko.
Iginiit ni Bulalacao na may presumption of regularity sa pagsasagawa ng mga pulis ng kampanya kontra droga.
Pahayag ito ng PNP kasunod ng Supreme Court resolution kung saan ipinalalabas na ang record ng mga napatay na drug suspects.
Ayon sa Korte Suprema, ang mga pagpatay sa anti-illegal drug campaign ay posibleng gawa ng pamahalaan dahil ang death toll ay nakalista sa accoplishment ng administrasyong duterte.
