Breaking: Luzon grid, isinailalim sa yellow alert ng NGCP
Isinailalim sa yellow alert ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) ang Luzon grid dahil sa manipis na reserba ng kuryente.
Sa abiso ng NGCP, ang pag-iral ng yellow alert ay mula ala 1:00 hanggang alas 3:00 ng hapon ngayong Huwebes, April 12.
Sinabi ng NGCP na 10,740 megawatts lang ang available capacity habang aabot sa 9,654 megawatts ang peak demand.
Naging manipis ang reserba ng kuryente sa Luzon dahil sa hindi inaasahang pag-shutdown ng ilang planta ng kuryente at dahil sa limitadong generation mula sa iba pang power plants.
