China at Pilipinas lumagda sa anim na bilateral agreements
Matapos ang bilateral meeting sa pagitan nina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at Chinese President Xi Jin Ping ay tinunghayan ng dalawang lider ang paglagda ng Pilipinas at China sa anim na bilateral agreements.
Nasa China si Pangulong Duterte matapos dumalo sa Boao Forum for Asia na naging daan din upang pasalamatan nito ang China sa mga naging tulong nito sa Pilipinas at sa mas gumagandang relasyon sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa.
Matapos ang pulong ng dalawang lider ay nilagdaan ang anim na bilateral agreements.
Unang nilagdaan ang ‘Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation’ ng dalawang bansa sa pangunguna nina Department of Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III at Chinese Ministry of Commerce Minister Zhong Shan.
Ikalawang nilagdaan ay ang ‘Exchange of Letters on the Phase III of the Technical Cooperation Project for the Filipino-Sino Center for Agricultural Technology na nilagdaan din ni Sec. Dominguez at ni Minister Zhong Shan.
Ang ikatlong kasunduan namang nilagdaan ay ‘Exchange of Letters for the Pre-Feasibility Study of the Proposed Davao City Expressway Project’ sa pangunguna nina Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar at Chinese Ministry of Commerce Minister Zhong Shan.
Nilagdaan naman sa pangunguna ni PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar at Ministry Zhong Shan ang ‘Exchange Letter for Broadcasting Equipment to the Presidential Communications Operations Office’.
Sa pangunguna naman nina Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III at Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jianhua ay nilagdaan ang ‘Memorandum of Understanding on the Employment of Filipino Teachers of English Language’.
Ang huling kasunduang nilagdaan naman ay ang ‘Preferential Buyer’s Credit Loan Agreement on the Chico River Pump Irrigation Project’ na nilagdaan ni Sec. Dominguez at Ambassador Zhao Jianhua.
Ilan sa mga kasama ng pangulo sa bilateral meeting ay sina Davao City Mayor Sara-Duterte-Carpio, Foreign Affairs Sec. Alan Peter Cayetano at Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
