Argosino at Robles ipinapa-aresto na ng Sandiganbayan dahil sa plunder

Ipinag-utos na ng Sandiganbayan ang pag-aresto sa dalawang dating opisyal ng Bureau of Immigration na isinasangkot sa P50 Million bribery scandal.

Sina dating B.I Deputy Commissioners Al Argosino at Michael Robles ay nahaharap sa kasong plunder.

Ang kautusan ay ipinalabas ng inilabas ng Sandiganbayan 6th Division ilang oras makaraang maglagak ng piyansa sina Argosino at Robles kaugnay sa nasabing bribery case.

Sinabi naman ni Sixth Division clerk of court Ruth Ferrer na ngayong araw lamang nailabas ang warrants para kina Argosino at Robles dahil naatraso ang pagdating ng nakatalagang associate justice na siyang dapat lumagda sa commitment order.

Sinabi rin ni Ferrer na alam na nina Argosino at Robles na may ilalabas na warrant of arrests para sa kanila kaya inunahan na nila ng paglalagak ng piyansang P60,000 bawat isa para sa mga kasong graft, direct bribery at violation ng Presidential Decree number 46.

Ang kasong plunder naman ay isang non-bailable offence ayon pa sa opisyal.

Magugunitang sina Argosino at Robles ay pawang responsable sa pagtanggap umano ng P50 Milliion mula sa gambling tycoon na si Jack Lam at dating pulis na si Wally Sombero.
