Roque sinegunahan ang pagtutol ni Cimatu sa planong pagtatayo ng casino sa Boracay
Nagpahayag ng pagsuporta si Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque sa pagtutol ni Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Roy Cimatu sa planong pagpapatayo ng casino sa isla ng Boracay.
Sa isang press briefing sa Tanauan, Leyte ay sinabi ni Roque na bagaman nagsasalita siya para sa pangulo ay inamin niyang sinusuportahan rin niya ang posisyon ni Cimatu.
Matatandaang noong nakaraang linggo ay sinabi ni Cimatu na hindi “ideal place” para sa casino ang isla ng Boracay.
Sa ngayon ay mayroon nang hawak na provisional license mula sa Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) ang Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd. at kanilang local partner na Leisure and Resorts World Corp.
