Magpupuslit ng kontrabando na mahigit P50M, kakasuhan ng economic sabotage
Magsasampa si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng kasong economic sabotage laban sa mga taong magpupuslit ng kontrabando na mahigit P50 million.
Sa kanyang talumpati sa awarding ng Outstanding Gawad Saka 2017 and Malinis at Masaganang Karagatan sa Malakanyang, sinabi ng Pangulo na ika-categorize niya ang pag-aangkat ng mahigit P50 million bilang economic sabotage.
Kaya kung mahuli anya ang importer na nag-angkat ng naturang halaga ay aarestuhin ito at lilitisin. “So if you are caught doing it, committing the crime or about to commit, or in fact committed the crime and you are apprehended there somewhere, you will be arrested and you will be detained to face trial,” pahayag ni Pangulong Duterte.
Dagdag ng Pangulo, ang smuggled goods na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit P50 million ay isang kaso na walang piyansa.
