Albayalde at Galvez manunumpa bilang bagong PNP Chief at AFP Chief of Staff sa April 18
Inanunsyo ng Malakanyang na sabay na manunumpa sa April 18 ang mga bagong pinuno ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at Armed Forces of the Philippine (AFP).
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, manunumpa sa nasabing petsa si outgoing NCRPO Chief Oscar Albayalde bilang bagong PNP Chief at si Western Mindanao Command Lt. Gen. Carlito Galvez.
Papalitan ni Albayalde si outgoing PNP Chief Ronald dela Rosa na hanggang April 14 na lang ang paninilbihan bilang pinuno ng Pambansang Pulisya at una nang sinabi ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na itatalaga niya sa Bureau of Corrections.
Si Galvez naman ang papalit kay AFP Chief of Staff Rey Leonardo Guerrero na magreretiro na.
Si Galvez ang overall commander sa Marawi siege habang si Gerrero naman ay itatalaga bilang Marina Chief.
