Pangulong Duterte, inutos ang pagpapatuloy ng peace talks sa CPP-NPA-NDF
Inutos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Presidential Advicer on the Peace Process Jesus Dureza na ipagpatuloy ang usapang pangkapayapaan sa Communist Party of the Philippine-New People’s Army-National nDemocratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).
Sa cabinet meeting Miyerkules ng gabi, inutos ng Pangulo ang resumption ng peace talks.
Pero nais ng Pangulo na magkaroon ng malinaw na instruction sa halaga ng pagkakaroon ng ceasefire agreement o tigil putukan para matigil ang pag-atake ng bawat isa sa magkabilang panig sa gitna ng usapang pangkapayapaan.
Ayon kay Dureza, sinabi ng Pangulo na “Let’s give this another last chance.”
Kung kailangan, committed din anya ang Pangulo na magbigay ng suporta para matigil na ang paghingi ng tinatawag na “revolutionary tax” ng mga rebelde.
