Recount sa naging botohan sa pagka-Bise Presidente, magsisimula na ngayong araw
Sisimulan na ngayong araw ng Supreme Court na siyang tumatayo bilang Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) ang pagbilang sa mga boto sa halalan sa pagkabise-presidente ngayong araw.
Ito ay kasunod ng electoral protest na inihain ni dating Sen. Bongbong Marcos laban kay Vice President Leni Robredo.
Magaganap ang ‘revision of votes’ sa gymnasium ng 5th floor ng SC-Court of Appeals (CA) Building sa Padre Faura, Maynila.
Ayon kay PET ad hoc committee member Atty. Jose Lemuel Arenas, ang ‘revision’ ay isang proseso ng pagbeberipika sa mga balota, pagbibilang sa mga boto ng mga partido at pagrerekord sa mga pagtutol at ‘claims’ ng bawat panig.
Isasagawa ang recount hanggang Biyernes mula alas-8:30 ng umaga hanggang alas-4:30 ng hapon na may 15-minutes na mga break at one-hour lunch break.
