Pang. Duterte bukas na ituloy ang peace talks sa NDFP
Bukas si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ibalik ang usaping pangkapayapaan sa pagitan ng gobyerno at National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).
Ayon kay Bayan Muna Partylist Representative Carlos Zarate, nakipagpulong sa House Committee on Peace, Reconcilation and Unity si Special Envoy for the Peace Process ng Royal Norwegian government Idun Tvedt.
Ang Norway ang nagsisilbing third party facilitator sa peace process sa pagitan ng gobyerno at NDFP.
Ayon kay Zarate, ginawa ni Tdevt ang pakikipagpulong sa komite matapos lumagda ang mahigit 60 kongresista na nanawagan kay Pangulong Duterte na ibalik ang usaping pangkapayapaan.
Idinagdag pa ni Zarate na matapos ang ginawang pakikipagpulong ni Tvedt sa mga kongresista ay nagtungo rin ito sa Davao City para kausapin si Pangulong Duterte.
Pero ayon kay Zarate, bagaman bukas ang pangulo sa panukala, kukunsultahin niya muna ang kanyang mga security officials tungkol dito.
