Rekomendasyong pagsuspinde sa mga piskal na nagbasura sa drug case vs. Espinosa at Lim, premature – Humarang, Reyes

Premature ang rekomendasyon ng Presidential Anti-corruption Commission (PACC) na pagsuspinde sa mga piskal ng Department of Justice na nagbasura sa drug case nina Kerwin Espinosa, Peter Lim at iba pang drug personalities.

Ito ang nagkakaisang pahayag nina Assistant State Prosecutor Michael John M. Humarang at Aristotle M. Reyes na ngayon ay Lucena Regional Trial Court Judge.

Iginiit nina Humarang at Reyes na hindi pa pinal ang kanilang rekomendasyon dahil ito ay kasalukuyang sumasailalim sa panibagong preliminary investigation ng bagong panel of prosecutor.

Dagdag ng dalawa, ang kaso ng respondents tulad ng iba pang drug case na nadi-dismiss sa lebel ng investigating prosecutor ay hindi rin maituturing na pinal dahil dadaan pa ito sa pag-aaral ng Justice secretary.

Nanindigan sina Humarang at Reyes na ginawa lang nila ang kanilang sinumpaang tungkulin na magsagawa ng preliminary investigation at timbangin ang mga ebidensya na ipinrisinta sa kanila.

Wala rin aniya silang otoridad na mangalap ng ebidensya para sa Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group at ibinigay nila rito ang lahat ng pagkakataon para ilatag ang kanilang kaso.

Wala aniya silang magagawa kung paiba-iba at nagkokontrahan ang pahayag ng nag-iisang witness ng PNP-CIDG.
