April 26 closure ng Boracay, hindi pa aprubado ng Pangulo- Asec. Alegre
Nilinaw ni Tourism Assistant Secretary Ricky Alegre na rekomendasyon pa lamang ng kanilang hanay at ng Department of Interior and Local Government at Department of Environment and Natural Resources na ipasara ang Boracay ng anim na buwan para sa rehabilitasyon.
Ayon kay Alegre, maaring mabawasan pa ang anim na buwan depende sa bilis ng rehabilitasyon at paglilinis sa isla.
Bukod dito, hindi pa naaprubahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng DILG, DENR at DOT.
Nakasalalay din aniya sa pakikipagtulungan ng mga residente sa isla ng Boracay ang magiging resulta ng rehabilitasyon.
Base sa rekomendasyon ng DILG, DENR at DOT, April 26 isasara ang isla ng Boracay para linisin ng anim na buwan.
