Kasong plunder vs ex-DPWH Sec. Singson at 33 iba pa, inihain sa Ombudsman
Naghain ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ng kasong pandarambong laban kina dating Public Works secretary Rogelio Singson at 33 iba pa sa Office of the Ombudsman.
Ito ay kaugnay sa maanomalyang right-of-way project sa General Santos City kung saan kumita umano si Singson ng P8.7 bilyon.
Sa liham ni NBI Director Dante Gierran kay Ombudsmna Conchita Carpio-Morales, inirekomenda ng kawanihan na sampahan ng kasong Plunder ang mga opisyal kabilang ang paglabag sa Section 3 (e) ng Republic Act 3019 o Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act at kasong Grave Misconduct and Dishonesty.
Matatandaang ipinag-utos ni Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II sa NBI na imbestigahan ang alegasyong isiniwalat ng testigong si Roberto Catapang sa naturang proyekto.
