VACC at VPCI ipinatatawag ng DOJ kaugnay ng Dengvaxia investigation

Sa pagpapatuloy ng imbestigasyon tungkol sa kontrobersyal na bakunang Dengvaxia ay ipinatatawag ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) at Vanguard of the Philippine Constitution Inc. (VPCI), maging si dating Department of Health (DOH) consultant Dr. Francis Cruz.

Sa March 23 isasagawa ng DOJ ang preliminary investigation kung saan tatalakayin ang mgareklamong inihabla ng VACC, VPCI, at ni Cruz laban kina dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino, dating DOH Secretary Janette Garin, at dating Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Florencio Abad.

Si Atty. Manuelito Luna ang kakatawan para sa VACC, habang si Eligio Mallari naman para sa VPCI.

Kabilang sa mga kasong isinampa ng dalawang advocacy group ang multiple homicide and physical injuries through criminal negligence, graft, technical malversation, at paglabag sa procurement law.

Matatandaang naghain na rin sila ng complaint sa Commission on Election (COMELEC) dahil sa paglabag umano nina Aquino sa probisyon sa ilalim ng Omnibus Election Code na nagbabawal sa paglalabas at paggamit ng pondo ng pamahalaan 45 araw bago ang eleksyon.
