UST tinalo ang UP sa UAAP Women’s Volleyball
Nakabawi ang University of Santo Tomas Lady Tigresses matapos nilang talunin ang University of the Philippines Lady Maroons sa UAAP Season 80 Women’s Volleyball tournament.
Sa iskor na 19-25, 30-28, 25-20, at 25-16 ay pumantay ang UST sa UP sa ika-apat na pwesto na kapwa mayroong 3-7 win-loss record.
Pinangunahan ni Sisi Rondina ang Lady Tigresses matapos nitong magbigay ng 25 points, 24 kills, at isang ace. Tinulungan siya ni Milena Alessandrini na nakapagbigay naman ng 20 puntos, 14 attacks, at 6 blocks.
Samantala, para naman sa Lady Maroons ay si Dianna Carlos ang nanguna sa pamamagitan ng kanyang 24 points, at 21 kills.
