14 na Vietnamese, arestado sa illegal fishing sa Occidental Mindoro

Arestado ang labing-apat na mangingisdang Vietnamese dahil sa iligal na pangingisda sa karagatang sakop ng Occidental Mindoro.

Ayon kay Supt. Imelda Tolentino, spokesperson ng MIMAROPA Regional police, naaresto ang Vietnamese fishermen matapos makita ng otoridad ang dalawang barkong pangisda sa bayan ng Paluan.

Nagsagawa ng operasyon ang Paluan Municipal station, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources MIMAROPA, 76th Infantry Battalion at Bantay Dagat ng Paluan.

Ang dalawang barko ay mayroong tig-pitong mangingisda mula sa Vietnam.

Sa ngayon ay nakakulong sa Mamburao Municipal police station ang mga dayuhang mangingisda habang ang kanilang mga barko ay dinala sa Tayamaan port sa Mamburao.
