Illegal structures sa Boracay pasasabugin ng Philippine Marines

Hindi mag-aatubili si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magpadala ng mga miyembro ng Philippine Marines at pasabugan ng dinamita ang mga ilegal na istruktura sa Boracay island.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, tiyak na gagamitan ng puwersa ng pagulo ang isyu sa Boracay kapag patuloy na nagmatigas ang mga may-ari ng resort at hindi tatalima sa kung anuman ang magiging kautusan ng national government.

Mismong ang lokal na pamahalaan na aniya ng Aklan ang nagpasaklolo sa pangulo.

Dagdag pa ni Roque, “The last that i heard is that the local government may even ask the president for assistance to call in the marines if need be. so when i heard that report, i told them, send the letter because i’m sure the president will not hesitate to send in the Marines and even use dynamites to blow up that illegal structure there”.

Ayon sa kalihim, hindi mababago ang desisyon ng Department of Interior and Local Government at Department of Environment and Natural Resources na ipatupad ang environmental laws pati na ang pagdemolish sa illegal structure ng partikular na sa West Cove Resort.
