BBL dapat nang maipasa sa katapusan ng Mayo – Duterte
Sinabihan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga mambabatas na dapat nang maipasa ang matagal nang pending na Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) sa katapusan ng Mayo.
Sa ilang mga Tweets ay sinabi ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque na ayon sa pangulo ay kinakailangan nang maipasa ang BBL dahil inaasahan at kailangan ito ng susunod na henerasyon, lalo na’t ito ang sagot sa paglaganap ng extremism at terorismo.
Sinabi pa umano ni Duterte sa joint command conference ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) sa Malacañang na ang deadline ng pagapapasa ng BBL ay sa May 30 na.
Ayon pa sa pangulo, ang Consultative Committee (Con-com) ang maaaring magbigay ng template para sa BBL.
Ilang mga mambabatas ang nakipagkita sa pangulo upang talakayin ang tungkol sa pagpapasa ng BBL. Kabilang dito sina Senate President Koko Pimentel, House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, Senate Majority Floor Leader Vicente Sotto III, at House Majority Floot Leader Rodolfo Fariñas.
Naroon rin sina Senador Gringo Honasan at Ping Lacson, Pangasinan Representative Amado Espino Jr., Antipolo Representative Romeo Acop,
Lanao del Sur Representative Mauyag Papandayan, Maguindanao Representative Bai Sandra Sema, at Tawi-Tawi Representative Ruby Sahali.
