‘Build Build Build’ program ng pamahalaan naantala dahil sa kakulangan ng mga construction workers
Kinakapos na ng construction workers ang Pilipinas kung kaya pansamantalanang naantala ang “Build Build Build” program ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na naglalayong magtayo ng mga kalsada, tulay at iba pang imprastraktura.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, dahil sa kakapusan ng construction workers, magbibigay ng libreng construction worker’s training ang t Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) sa halos 100,000 katao.
“Nais namin ipaalam sa publiko na ang TESDA po ay magbibigay ng libreng construction workers’ training sa higit kumulang 100,000 katao para maisakatuparan ang ating Build, Build, Build infrastructure plan. The project has already received application forms in 122 TESDA Training Centers on February 27 and 28 for the national technical-vocational education and training, enrolment and jobs bridging,” ani Roque.
Target aniya na bigyan ng libreng training ang mga nakatapos ng skills training, indigenous people, mga dating rebelde at mga mahihirap.
Ayon kay Roque, sa ngayon ay nakatanggap na ang TESDA ng mga application forms mula sa 122 na traning centers sa buong bansa.
“Of course we have to do this, because apparently the Build, Build, Build program has already resulted in some kind of a shortage for construction workers here in the Philippines,” paliwanag ni Roque.
