Ilang batch ng gamot sa TB at Leprosy, pinababawi sa merkado ng FDA

Ipinababawi sa merkado ng Food and Drugs Administration ng Department of Health ang ilang batch ng isang antibiotic dahil sa hindi pagsunod sa tamang specification.

Ordered recall ng FDA ang Rifampicin na may brand name na Rifanid 200 milligram per 5 milliliter suspension (200 mg/5ml) na may batch numbers c30002, c30007, at c30008 na ang expiration ay sa May at July 2016.

Lumitaw sa pagsusuri na hindi agad natutunaw ang powder sa tubig at nagbubuo-buo ito kahit pa kalugin ito.

Ang Rifampicin suspension ay ginagamit na panlunas sa mga sakit na Tuberculosis, Leprosy, at iba pang impeksyon.
